Frederick County Commissioner of the Revenue
Frederick County says residents who receive real estate tax relief as part of the county’s senior citizens/disabled persons program for 2019 will be automatically placed into the program for 2020, with the same rate of tax relief reduction.

United Way Northern Shenandoah Valley
As concerns over COVID-19 continue to grow, so do the financial implications for businesses and employees. People are losing work as businesses close and many families who already live paycheck to paycheck are struggling to make ends meet. United Way NSV and the Valley Assistance Network (VAN) are closely monitoring the developments happening at all levels of government in order to stay up-to-date on resources and assistance available for those who are impacted.

The Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum wants to Help
While the museum at 19 W. Cork St. is closed until at least mid-April due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, its staff is producing light-hearted yet educational videos with suggested activities for families to do together.
