Jason Aikens is proud to be a lifelong resident of Winchester and Frederick County. Over the years, he has built deep relationships across the community—through his family’s business and consistent service on local boards and committees. His public service includes time as a planning commissioner, where he learned more about the county, helped educate neighbors about real estate development, and brought a common‑sense, business‑minded perspective to the Commission. He is committed to working alongside others to build a county prepared for growth, resilient in the face of challenges, and focused on the well‑being of every resident.

Professionally, Jason serves as Vice President and Partner at Aikens Group, where he leads operations for a diverse portfolio of hotels, multifamily housing, commercial real estate, and construction projects throughout the Shenandoah Valley. With more than twenty years of experience in hospitality, real estate development, and business operations, he has driven meaningful performance improvements through strategic planning, new business development, and operational excellence.

Jason’s commitment to community extends to service on both nonprofit and for‑profit boards, including the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber, NW Works, and the Apple Blossom Festival. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for First National Corporation (First Bank) and as a Trustee for Valley Health.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from James Madison University and is a licensed real estate agent. Outside of work, Jason values professional development, physical fitness, and time with family—priorities that reflect his balanced approach to life and leadership.
