Frederick County Launches Electronic Newsletter
WINCHESTER, VA, November 1, 2019: Frederick County Government has launched a new electronic newsletter. This first edition served as an overview of the first quarter of the current fiscal year, covering news items such as the purchase of Sunnyside Plaza, the addition of podcasts to the communications lineup, and upcoming events and ongoing projects.
Jay Tibbs, Deputy County Administrator said, “I think this will quickly become an excellent communications tool for Frederick County, complementing our other outreach efforts.”
Karen Vacchio, Public Information Officer, is “excited to add this to our lineup of outreach tools such as our website, multiple social media sites, the cable channel, and our recently created podcasts.”
The newsletter will be published quarterly and on an as-needed basis between the quarterly issues. People may sign up at www.fcva.us/getnews and may view newsletters through www.fcva.us/enewsletter.
Parks and Recreation has an e-newsletter devoted strictly to parks and rec and the Frederick County Economic Development Authority also publishes an e-newsletter.
