
Woodbine Farms to Receive the Virginia Grand Basin Clean Water Farm Award
Woodbine Farms in Frederick County is one of 10 Virginia farms to be recognized for its leadership in soil and water conservation. Woodbine Farms is the representative for the Shenandoah River. Nominated by the Lord Fairfax Soil and Water Conservation District, Woodbine Farms is a Virginia Century Farm that has sought to include conservation efforts across its business, including the exclusion of its cattle from nearly 6,000 ft. of Crooked Run via an 8-acre buffer.
