Charity Dog Walk & Pool Pawty Coming to Sherando Park, September 6, 2025

Frederick County Parks and Recreation invites the community to bring their pups for a tail-wagging good time at the annual Charity Dog Walk & Pool Pawty on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Sherando Park. This fun-filled event celebrates the bond between pets and their people—all while supporting a great cause.

Event proceeds benefit the Esther Boyd Animal Shelter, helping provide care and resources for animals in need.

Event Details

🐕 Charity Dog Walk

• Time: 10:00 AM

• Fee: $25

• Details: 2-mile charity walk along Sherando Park’s scenic trails.

• Perks: Includes event t-shirt, dog bandana, and exclusive VIP pool access from 11 AM–12 PM.

💦 Pool Pawty

• Time: 12:00 PM

• Fee: $5

• Details: Splash and play with your pup at Sherando Pool.

• Extras: Enjoy swim time, food, ice cream, vendors, and more tail-wagging fun!
